Information about Jubilee Farm's CSA (subscription) program.

CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. This is a relationship between a farmer who grows organic fruits and vegetables, and local members of the public who want to support that farmer in his or her agricultural efforts and who want to enjoy the benefits of eating the freshest, most wholesome farm produce available.

I like to pick strawberries!

We have five Sessions throughout each year. Members can sign up for any or all of the sessions. Our "main session" is the summer CSA, which lasts for 20 weeks and runs from mid-June through the end of October. Most Members come to the farm to pick up their produce during the Summer Session, but we also deliver. Our Fall, Winter, Early Spring, and Late Spring each last for six weeks, run from the first part of November through early June, and all produce for these Sessions is delivered (see more about delivery below).

When the "main season" gets under way in June, the first couple of weeks the "shares" are mostly greens: head lettuce, arugula, mizuna, totsoi, poc choi, mustards, chard, kale etc. But soon the shares become a smorgasbord of the freshest and tastiest vegetables you can imagine—and all grown without any herbicides, pesticides, preservatives, or any synthetic fertilizers.

Gourmet bouquet

Greens continue throughout the season, joined by summer squash, cucumbers, tomatoes, peas, beans, raspberries, artichokes, broccoli, cauliflower, strawberries, cabbage, watermelons, peppers, potatoes, onions, cantaloupes, basil, kohlrabi, corn, leeks, fennel, carrots, garlic, beets, radishes, cilantro, turnips, winter squashes, and, probably more.

Most of the produce is pre-picked by us and is waiting for you in the barn or at your pick-up site when you arrive. We also have some u-pick for those who pick up at the farm. Once the flowers start in June, members who pick up at the farm can pick a bouquet each week. We also u-pick beans, peas, berries, herbs, and other items at various times.

We're just waiting for you

We want our farm to be a place that is fun to come to, and people find it to be so. Our beautiful setting along the Snoqualmie River with the Cascades as a background sets the stage. Members often bring lunches and eat them here. Members also learn a great deal about the farm, and soon feel very much at home. We have a "kids' event" each pick-up day during July and August that helps the children to learn about (and have fun at!) the farm. Members are updated on the farming season and various agricultural issues with a newsletter.

Rows of life

Next season will be our eleventh year of doing CSA. We appreciate the continued, loyal support of our membership. Many of our members have been with us since day one! Without this community support, this farm would not be in existence.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact us (addresses below). If you would like to download an application for any of our CSA Sessions, please see the main menu category "CSA Applications."
