Welcome to Week 2 of the Early Spring Session! With some wonderful spring like weather warming the soil last week, we were able to get a lot accomplished here on the farm. Farmer David and the crew spaded the strawberries, the garlic is growing quite nicely, green are in the ground and ready to go, and lots of seeds are sprouting in the greenhouse!
One exciting thing coming up on the farm is our May Day Celebration! This year, the event will take place on Saturday, April 30th, from 11am-2pm. Come join us for tractor tour rides of the farm, live music, food, games, seed planting, farm animal viewing, a scavenger hunt, and of course – wrapping the Maypole! Find out more information by clicking on the link May Day, and be sure to pass the word to your family and friends. This event is open to the public, and we’d love for all to come celebrate springtime with us here on the farm!
Last but not least, Spring Tours are just around the corner. If you or someone you know would like to bring a small group or class out to tour the farm, and learn about what goes on during planting season here on Jubilee, check out our online calendar and sign up now! We love to share our passion for farming with people of all ages, and this is a great way to learn more about where your food comes from. Click the link Spring Tours to sign up now!
As always, thank you SO very much for your continued support of Jubilee Farm!
