Welcome to Week 4 of the Late Spring Session! Ahhhh . . . It was so nice to have some rain dampen the fields this weekend. I know you may not be thinking the same thing about the rain, but for us, it is just what the crops needed! We have our irrigation system all set up and ready to go for the hot summer months predicted to come our way this year. But for now we rely a lot on the bouts of rain that come and go throughout the month of May.
One month from today our barn market doors will be opening for the Summer Session! Tuesday, June 14th! We are so thrilled to already be harvesting goodies for your boxes, and confident the proliferation will continue on with your share throughout the entire Summer Session! I am including a picture for those of you who may have never participated in a Summer Session with us, so that you can see just what all the excitement is about. A long-time friend and workshare member here at Jubilee, Libby Lewis, is also a photographer. Libby was kind enough to take a picture each week during the Summer Session, to show everyone exactly what they can expect in a 20 week Summer Share.
