This week has been a doozy, the farm lost power and also water with the snowstorm that came through Sunday and Monday. We were back up and running just in the nick of time on Tuesday to print out labels and get boxes packed up, but things were a little touch and go with the icy roads and getting to work for some of us. Luckily Farmer David lives very close and was out braving the cold and ice while harvesting brussels sprouts first thing Tuesday morning for this weeks boxes. This is the stuff that is inevitable in farming, we can’t control the weather but somehow we make it work. We hope you enjoy this weeks veggies, so far just about everything this session has been from the farm which makes us very happy and hopefully you feel the same.
