We’re SO excited for the return of May Day this Saturday, May 7 from 11 am – 3 pm!! This is a great opportunity to get out and usher in the new growing season. It’s been a crazily wet spring, and it looks like we may have some rain on Saturday – but we’ve been persevering through this challenging spring anyway, and we hope you’ll come join us to celebrate new growth, rain or shine! Bring your coat & rainboots and help us wake the farm up for the summer season.
The May pole dance will start at noon, with wonderful local musician and longtime farm friend Rose Marie Barr. We’ll have some good old-fashioned lawn games like potato sack races, a scavenger hunt, seeding activity, and more! The barn will be open with goods from Jubilee and other local folks, and we’ll also have a limited number of Victory Garden trays available to help you get your garden started.
Bigfoot Burgers will be here serving up delicious burgers & fries, and we’ve got an amazing assortment of local artisans sharing their wares with you on the barn porch! With Mother’s Day coming up, it’s the perfect time to shop directly from your neighbors. See you on Saturday!
